On February 19th, a Live event took place where we familiarized ourselves with information about the launch of Manager 3.0 in its production version. In this way, we moved on to the next stage of our development. The Live event featured Grzegorz Ciupek, CEO of ECAT eCommerce, Tadeusz Stabrawa, Vice President of ECAT eCommerce, and Michał Knap, Sales Director. These three musketeers shared a lot of interesting information, some of which I want to share with you now. It is important that ECAT Manager 3.0 is already here and operating in the production version.

Below, for your convenience, I provide a transcript of the entire meeting, which, as I have already written, took place on February 19th at 6:00 PM.
How the current ECAT Manager 3.0 was created.
Undoubtedly, each of us was waiting for this main version of the ECAT Manager 3.0. We had been working on this version for many months, and in total, years. – Why years? The reason is simple. At the beginning, we knew what we wanted and how it should look, but we did not have experience in creating such software. Along the way, we gained experience, which we immediately put into practice.
You have partly learned the history of Manager 3.0 by reading the article: What is the history of Manager 3.0? From vision to realization. Today, as a reminder, I will mention a few important details. Along the way to the production version of Manager 3.0, which appeared on February 19, 2024, there were beta tests, Manager 1.0, Manager 2.0.
Today, we already have the production version available and can enjoy it, as we have been waiting for this version, this basis for our further actions, for quite some time. We will be operating on this version for many years and conquering the e-commerce market, and you with us.
This tool, as you surely know, is created so that many people, really millions of people worldwide, can use the opportunities that e-commerce offers, but until now there has never been a tool in e-commerce that facilitates work as strongly as the ECAT Manager.

Manager 3.0 is not the final version, but the production one.
The path to the final version of ECAT Manager 3.0 is long. Michał Knap informs us that –“The final version in this ecosystem is impossible to achieve. The whole system is already working, and we will continuously add new features, corrections that will support our partners and operators. Such a process is an endless story, so there will probably never be a final version”.
It started with Manager 1.0, currently, we are in Manager 3.0. This system is incredibly extensive, there are many dependencies that affect each other, so that everyone can operate with ECAT eCommerce, sellers, wholesalers, manufacturers of goods, who can now collaborate with us on a larger scale. To Michał’s statement, Grzegorz adds –“But that’s not all, because as Michał said, we don’t say final version, but rather production. However, I was more referring to the technology, because in the first two versions, i.e., Manager 1.0, which was built in Asia, Manager 2.0, which was 100% built by the Polish Team, and now Manager 3.0, which is built by a professional company, focusing on choosing the right latest technologies to fully optimize every functionality in Manager 3.0”.
Intuitiveness and simplicity of ECAT Manager software.
In the process of creating this wonderful software, we aimed to make sure that this platform was easy to use, because this is one of the key elements. In M3, for example, we wanted to have as few elements as possible that everyone needs to set up, configure, prepare for shipping products, whether on Allegro or to an online store.
Grzegorz Ciupek mentions –“And as I recorded one of the instructional videos for manager 2.0, where I had to set prices and I say, what a pathology, to set different prices for each product, for each wholesaler, and it takes a lot of time. And now what prices, what needs to be done to fire up this smart? For many, this is very difficult. In Manager 3.0 there is already full automation, where you don’t need to set prices at all, the system itself selects the appropriate prices depending on the product and wholesaler”.
Security is a priority in ECAT Manager 3.0
Grzegorz Ciupek informs us that –“I am fully aware, saying these words, that this is already the last version that we are building, to which we will only add new functionalities, because it is already a fully modular and fully secured system, which is also very important, because every element we work on in Manager 3.0 is thoroughly discussed in terms of security, data leakage, information, attacks of various kinds, etc.”
Grzegorz also informs us about why such care for the security of the system – “The care for security stems from the fact that in Manager 2.0 it happened that whether it was competing companies or different people sent us such specialists who could initiate an attack”.
He adds to this that –“We usually dealt with it within 24 hours, but we do not want to deal with it, but we want to completely repel attacks that appear. But we are also fully aware that there are situations when even large banks and corporations have problems with such actions”.
Investment in a professional team of programmers has paid off.
Creating any well-functioning software requires using a professional team of programmers who have knowledge and skills, and this costs quite a lot of money and requires time.
Tadeusz Stabrawa draws our attention to this, saying that financial expenditures, depending on who worked on the software, are different. Initially, they were low, but the quality of execution was low. Currently, financial expenditures on the IT department are much higher, but the quality is incomparable.
To his statement, he also adds –“Now indeed, these last few months, the team that does this, that realizes this, is of the highest level, and obviously, every team had to somehow enter this, get acquainted with all this. Of course, it is not that it is always perfect, it will never be perfect, there is always a need here to cooperate and go in a good direction, but it is worth working and going in a good direction”.
