Confrontation with Challenges and Engaging the STOP Button!
In our business journey, we have encountered various challenges, especially during periods when turnover was falling. Remember the situation from last year, when in July and August, our turnover went down? As Grzegorz recalls, “[…] everyone had written us off, but I said no, because we pressed stop. I said that our turnover would fall in July and August last year, because we had to slow down to organize processes, make some changes, optimize the system and prepare it for growth […]“. This conscious slowdown allowed us to reorganize and optimize our processes, which turned out to be key for our further growth.
We solve problems and challenges by pressing the brake and then, after the introduced corrections, improvements, and optimization, we increase the flows, generating higher turnovers. We then meet new challenges that we must again solve, fix, correct, and improve. This is what the natural processes of building any business look like.
In e-commerce, there is a magic success button.
In ECAT eCommerce, we use a unique business model that allows us to dynamically control our revenues. “[…] I often joke that in ECAT we have such a business model where we press a button and decide what revenues we generate. It’s probably the only phenomenal business model that allows for such things […],” Grzegorz Ciupek recalls. Our innovative approach and adaptability have allowed us to go beyond traditional business methods and achieve significant results. We have introduced a system that allows us to react quickly to market changes and maximize our revenues.

We understand, says Grzegorz, that the development of a company is a continuous process, full of challenges and changes. “[…] However, it is known that nothing happens immediately, and we cannot create a perfect business generating billions overnight, but it is a certain process and certain things that we face today […]“. We face these challenges, constantly adjusting our strategy and operations. Every challenge encountered along the way is another opportunity for us to learn and grow. In our company, we understand that every decision, every turnover, every process optimization are steps on the path to achieving our ultimate goal – building a sustainable and profitable business for our investors, partners, and for us.

In ECAT, we focus on numbers because they best testify to our achievements. Over the past years, our revenues have shown impressive growth. “[…] As we remember, last year we made 3 million in revenues, this year already on the system 7 million 386 thousand […]”. These numbers are proof of the effectiveness of our actions and strategies.
We proudly observe how our financial results increase every month, “[…] Just this month, it is 400 thousand, we are on the course of 1.5 million, 1.7 million, depending on which statistics we consider […]“. This constant growth is both a motivation for us and confirmation that the chosen path is right and what we do is good despite the large number of mistakes we still make.

Grzegorz predicts that for the first time we will enter the first million at the end of this month, that is, we will make this million in revenues in one month. “[…] There will be more, we will all be happy. There will be less, nothing happens, because it will still be another record month. So whichever direction we go, it will be good […]“.
But remember one thing, we do exactly as much as our system allows us. Not the human factor, because we have an almost perfect team and we are very confident in it, in terms of functioning and many dependencies in the company that must exist for the company to function normally. However, a large impact on how much revenue we generate is made by the system, which is why we are looking forward to Manager 3.0 with such longing.
We manage based on facts.
Michał, the head of marketing, informs us that in managing our ECAT eCommerce company, the priority is facts, especially those expressed in numbers. “[…] Sometimes such comments appear that something is not going according to plan. I like to act on facts because those are opinions […]“. By focusing on specific data, we avoid the pitfalls of management based on subjective opinions.
Sometimes comments appear like: “[…] something is not going your way […]”, “[…] Someone else will say that something was not done, implemented, something broke, etc…[…]”, yes, that’s true. Comments, opinions are very important to us. I wanted to mention here as a curiosity the year 2020, December. Do you know what turnover we generated then? 13,795.16 PLN. The following year, 2021, December. 209,798.21 PLN. In December 2022, we already have 353,462 PLN for the month. Again, we have almost twice the result year to year. The current year 2023 as of now 7 December we already have a total result of about 365,000 PLN day to day. As you can see, it’s just a matter of regular progress.
We offer transparency by regularly presenting our financial results to investors and stakeholders. “[…] Numbers are sent every week in investor reports to our investors. every month, they are also sent in monthly summaries […]”. This approach allows us to build trust and a realistic picture of our achievements.
The future and our vision of the ECAT eCommerce path.
ECAT eCommerce is Grzegorz’s vision and dream from a few years ago. You can argue whether what we do works and makes sense. Regardless of how we look at it, numbers say one thing. There is progress, there is growth. In ECAT, we look to the future with optimism, aware that this is just the beginning of our journey.
Michał informs us that “[…] These numbers do not satisfy us at all. These numbers are insufficient for us. These numbers this year from June should be several times higher and we know it perfectly well […]”. Our vision is not limited to current results; we aspire to continuous development and achieving ever higher goals. In our plans is not only to maintain the current pace of growth but also to accelerate it and expand our activities. We know that this is possible thanks to our strategy, team, and continuous striving for perfection, and with the new software, it will be much easier, as you will see for yourself.
