We are all waiting for the day that is coming and will change the face of dropshipping and e-commerce in Poland. February 19 marks a breakthrough in the activities of many entrepreneurs cooperating online with ECAT eCommerce, heralding significant changes in the way sales, auctions, and offer presentations on the Marketplace platform, as well as in online stores, are managed. According to announcements, this day opens a new chapter in the history of e-commerce. Manager 3.0 is a tool aimed at facilitating and streamlining sales processes for sellers, which is why the transition to Manager 3.0 is so important.
Over the last weeks, and even months, our entire community, ECAT eCommerce, meaning operators, sellers, entrepreneurs, and dropshippers, have lived in anticipation of the details and functionalities that the new version of the manager will bring. I have already written a bit about the novelties in previous articles, such as in the article – ‘Business software Manager 3.0 is already operational. P#5/5‘ and many others.
These changes conceal more than just a technological revolution. It is, above all, an opportunity to optimize business and utilize new possibilities for maximizing profits. In light of the upcoming changes, understanding how these novelties will affect the daily work of our business partners and how to best prepare for the phasing out of Manager 2.0, which has served its purpose, and the implementation of the production version of Manager 3.0, scheduled for February 19 at 18:00, becomes crucial. Therefore, we invite you to a Live session on this day.
We have planned the entire process of changes that we intend to make by February 19, so that on this day we can fully launch the functioning, selling software that is Manager 3.0 in its production version, i.e., stable. With this article, we want to show how it all happens. Additionally, we have announced the introduction of a series of innovations and conveniences that are intended to not only increase sales efficiency but also improve work organization and greater control over processes.
The decision to phase out Manager 2.0 was not easy.
The transition period requires attention.
At this moment, we have technology that we are calm about, and we are also calm about your results, which you will start achieving by working on the new platform. Unfortunately, this transition period is difficult for us, which we need to go through together. Sometimes the transition period is hard, just as it was difficult to decide to phase out Manager 2.0. We need to work together so we can enjoy what we have created since February 19.
Good systems are built on feedback from customers.
‘Good systems are built based on feedback from customers, for which we thank you very much. And although we know that we will all grumble for a while, I already see the highway, the width and length of which cannot be described’ – informs Grzegorz Ciupek on the ECAT eCommerce community news channel. He adds elsewhere – ‘Only thanks to you do we have such a database of information that any company in Dropshipping can envy us.’
How to smoothly transition to Manager 3.0 with auctions listed on Allegro?
We have introduced a transition plan that will facilitate migration.
In the face of the introduction of Manager 3.0, entrepreneurs and sellers operating on the Allegro platform must familiarize themselves thoroughly with the transition plan to ensure the fluidity and efficiency of their sales operations. Key elements of this plan include a series of preparatory actions and deadlines that are essential for a seamless migration of systems.
You are informed about all these plans on our social platforms, this article is just a supplement to the already existing process. According to our announcements and the celebration awaiting us on February 19th, there are a few things we need to implement.
From February 2nd, we are not adding auctions on Allegro.
This is the day when listing new offers will be impossible. We cease listing sales offers on Allegro. This is necessary to smoothly phase out all current offers on this Marketplace, which have been listed using Manager 2.0.
From February 5th, we begin gradually removing auctions from Allegro.
The transition from Manager 2.0 to Manager 3.0 is going as smoothly and without issues as before. Operators have begun gradually removing auctions listed on Allegro. On our part, to accelerate this process, we have implemented a system for mass deletion of auctions. On February 6th, within one day, we removed 4 million auctions. This shows us how good and effective our technology is and how smoothly our system operates.
Manager 2.0 will be prepared for transfer to a reserve domain to free up the main domain for embedding the basic version of Manager 3.0. Transactions are already taking place on manager 3, which pleases us greatly, and at this moment, 99% of transactions are processed smoothly. This means that with the new technology, problems with stock levels, or rather their absence, should end.
Implementation of the procedure for increasing the product base in manager 3.0 in beta version.
Given that we have introduced additional functionality for our operators, we decided to conduct a very large operation on February 5, 2024, to remove all products from M3 due to the introduction of product variations and database restructuring. Then the database will be quickly replenished. Already in the morning of February 6th, there were 290,000 products. As you can see, work on the products is ongoing. With the new technology, this will translate into correct stock levels, full control, notifications, and quick reactions.
Procedure for disconnecting Allegro accounts.
To smoothly transition to Manager 3.0, which will eventually operate on the production domain https://manager.ec-at.com, but currently works in beta version on a substitute domain, several conditions must be met.
Ending all auctions.
We are ending all auctions on each of the integrated Allegro accounts. We decided to take care of this ourselves, but if we missed your account, let us know on Discord, while remembering that the entire process might take several hours.
Hide all ended auctions.
If you want to operate on the same Allegro accounts in the new Manager as in the old one, you need to hide all ended auctions. How to do it? Very simply
Go to Allegro in the ‘My assortment‘ tab, scroll down to the bottom and on the left side select 1000 products per page, then scroll all the way up, in the ‘offer status’ box select ‘ended’, click the ‘select all’ checkbox, and from the green panel that appears below, click the ‘HIDE’ button and confirm the operation in the next window.
Repeat the process until all ended auctions are hidden. Lately, hiding auctions takes longer due to errors on the side of Allegro, patience is required.
Removing old applications.
To remove all applications associated with the Allegro account and Manager 2.0, you need to log in to the selected Allegro account, then go to the page: https://apps.developer.allegro.pl/ and remove all associated applications. Then, log out and log in to the next Allegro account and also remove all associated applications. Repeat this for all Allegro accounts. Remember, you must be logged into the Allegro account to be able to remove the application.
Settling arrears with ECAT eCommerce.
All financial arrears towards ECAT eCommerce must be settled. We remind you that in the case of accounts with billing rights and automatic deduction of fees from customer payments within orders, ECAT eCommerce allocates its own funds for Allegro invoices but does not finance them. We will introduce cost invoices from Allegro for January in eWallet soon.
After meeting all conditions, the adventure in the new version of our tool, Manager 3.0, begins.
How to start activities in Manager 3.0
o make your work easier, we have prepared a short guide on how to start activities in Manager 3.0
Do you meet the conditions?
To start activities in the new version of Manager, you need to meet the conditions I mentioned above. This is a necessary condition. We also wrote about them in our group post: https://t.me/dropshippingallegro/1/9567. If you meet the conditions, register on the site https://beta.ec-at.com. There is no need to use the same email address as in manager 2.0.
Add your store and Allegro account.
You add your store and Allegro account according to the latest video instruction. Remember to disable two-factor authentication after completing the integration process.
Inform us about the completed process of connecting the Allegro account.
Regardless of whether the account was previously in Manager 2.0 or is completely new, because we need to check the configuration, and in the case of new accounts, complete the entire process by adding the Seller’s Essential Kit, changing the phone number, verifying withdrawal accounts, if we have access to the technical account, etc.
For this purpose, you open a ticket on Discord or send a private message to @Mateusz ECAT. You inform us that you have connected the Allegro account.
Transferring the contents of the wallet.
If you want to transfer the contents of the eWallet, i.e., accumulated funds for withdrawal along with the buffer from your stores to the new platform, it will be possible only after March 15th, when we introduce cost invoices for February still in Manager 2.0, so as not to create confusion. You still have the opportunity to withdraw profits in Manager 2.0. First, it is worth waiting until we introduce the invoices mentioned earlier. Signal the desire to transfer the contents of the eWallet after March 15th in tickets or in a private message to @Mateusz ECAT.
Important information: Until February 8th, we are not listing any auctions on Allegro, even if the migration to manager 3.0 was successful. We will inform you from when it will be possible to list auctions through messages in groups.
